You will hear from international organizations who will present their initiatives on Gender Lens and will discuss how they leverage the #Geneva ecosystems to reach their goals.

The Gender Lens Initiative for Switzerland (GLIS) is a SFG – Sustainable Finance Geneva working group, which was launched on 8 March 2021.

It seeks to enhance the Swiss contribution to #SDG5 (Gender Equality & Women Empowerment) through partnerships, industry standards, market research, financial innovation, organizational model assessments, events & media outreach.

Speakers :

• Heather Kipnis – IFC – International Finance Corporation will share how they are working with financial institutions and private equity funds to address gender inequalities in emerging markets

• Anna Mori – International Trade Centre will speak about the Care-SheTrades Impact Fund and the upcoming publication “12 lessons learned on Gender Lens Investing”

• Diana Gutierrez – UNDP will discuss the Gender Equality Seal

• Stephania Bonilla – UNCTAD will discuss how governments can facilitate a greater impact of multinationals’ operations on gender equality and mainstreaming gender in investment promotion
